Experience the lights, camera, and rush of being on a professional film set!

Project Green Light’s kid film camp is split between in class instruction and on-set production at the Abbey Theater. Kids will act and direct their own short movies as they discover the rewards and challenges of acting and directing for the camera. At the end of the camp, campers will have a completed short film and also act in the “Broadway2LA Summer Camp Showcase.”
Summer Camp Schedule:
- Monday: Introduction to the art of film making
- Tuesday: Classroom learning/ On Set Production/ Shooting Short Film
- Wednesday: Classroom learning/ On Set Production/ Shooting Short Film
- Thursday: Classroom learning/ On Set Production/ Shooting Short Film
- Friday: “Broadway2LA Summer Camp Showcase;” students will perform a commercial, monologue and a film scene for family, friends and our industry guests.
Highlights Include:
- New Material: Kids campers will write, direct, and act in their own short film.
- T-Shirts: Campers will receive a customized “Broadway2LA Summer Acting Camp 2025” t-shirt.
- Limited Enrollment: We have limited enrollment for each camp to ensure each camper receives one on one instruction from our teachers and has an impactful week of training.
- Life Skills: Campers will increase their confidence, raise their self-esteem and perform on a professional film set: lights, camera, crew, and a director.
