Our classes, showcases, and workshops have contributed to many students’ independent success, however, we do not agent, manage, commission, procure or attempt to procure work for actors.

In keeping with state codes, BROADWAY2LA ACTING STUDIO LLC* conducts entirely optional classes and workshops with solely educational intent.

Our classes and workshops are not interviews or auditions, and the presence of industry professionals, including but not limited to:

  • Producers
  • Directors
  • Casting Directors
  • Associates
  • Representatives

is neither a promise nor guarantee of employment or an audition.

Contact with an Industry professional solely through a workshop in and of itself does not result in a contract with the guest or the production company they represent.

Workshops/Showcases are not auditions for employment or for obtaining a talent agent or talent manager.

Finally, Broadway2LA Acting Studio LLC industry guest list is subject to change at its showcases/ workshops and attendance can not be guaranteed.

STATEMENT OF RELEASE- By joining a class, acting camp, acting showcase or workshop you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Any images, recordings, or pictures taken at our classes (In Person/Virtual), summer acting camps (In Person/ Virtual), acting showcases (In Person/ Virtual), or workshops (In Person/ Virtual) are the property of Broadway2LA Acting Studio, LLC. This material can be used by the studio for promotional purposes, advertisements, and sent to local industry professionals to scout talent.

Promotional and advertisements include flyers, logos, website, letterhead, promo videos, social media, commercials etc. While, local talent agencies include Heyman, PCG, Helen Wells, and CAM talent agency and the casting directors include Candy Bennett and Karmen Dann.

EMERGENCY/ MEDICAL RELEASE:

Each parent gives permission for emergency medical care of his or her child. Any concerns need to be made in writing and turned into the instructor prior to the first day of class/ camp/ workshop.

REFUND POLICY:

All students (Kids, teens, and adults) who are registered for a fall, winter, or a spring acting class or a summer acting camp will receive a full refund if they cancel their order two weeks or more prior to the start date.  However, if the cancellation is within two weeks of the start date, students will be issued a class credit which can be used within one year of issuance.  All sales are final, and refunds are at the discretion of Broadway2LA Acting Studio, LLC.

In addition, all refunds will be paid back via PayPal and we will use the email address our customer used when registering for a class.  It is the customer's responsibility to use the correct email address when registering on PayPal, because, this the address we will use to issue the refund.

Student Behavior:

Students should respect his/her instructors and their peers during class/camp. Disrespectful behavior is not tolerated. If a student's behavior disrupts the class/camp, student may be dismissed without refund.

Bullying:

As mentioned above, disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated during classes and/or camp. If a student feels they are a victim of bullying, they should seek help from the Broadway2LA Acting Studio staff. The staff, in conjunction with the Broadway2LA Acting Studio Managing Director, will make any decisions regarding those involved. Participants engaged in bullying may be dismissed without refund.

Pandemic Policy:

If in person classes are cancelled due to the pandemic (COVID-19), all students will be switched to the virtual class format in their respected class. However, students will also have the option of changing their enrollment fee to a class credit for the 2021 calendar year.

SNOW POLICY:

We will cancel classes if there is a “Level II” emergency or higher. If there is rain, sleet, snow, and ice, but it is not a “Level II” emergency we will be having class. If we cancel class, you will be emailed early in the morning on the day of your class about the cancellation.

There are no refunds or make up classes for cancelled classes, including “snow days” or other weather related issues. When we return to class, our instructors will make every attempt to teach the lesson that was missed in the following sessions.
