Our classes, showcases, and workshops have contributed to many students’ independent success, however, we do not agent, manage, commission, procure or attempt to procure work for actors.

In keeping with state codes, BROADWAY2LA ACTING STUDIO LLC conducts entirely optional classes and workshops with solely educational intent.

Our classes and workshops are not interviews or auditions, and the presence of industry professionals, including but not limited to:

  • Producers
  • Directors
  • Casting Directors
  • Associates
  • Representatives

is neither a promise nor guarantee of employment or an audition.

Contact with an Industry professional solely through a workshop in and of itself does not result in a contract with the guest or the production company they represent.

Workshops/Showcases are not auditions for employment or for obtaining a talent agent or talent manager.

Finally, Broadway2LA Acting Studio LLC industry guest list is subject to change at its showcases/ workshops and attendance can not be guaranteed.

STATEMENT OF RELEASE- By joining a class, acting camp, acting showcase or workshop you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Any images, recordings, or pictures taken at our classes (In Person/Virtual), summer acting camps (In Person/ Virtual), acting showcases (In Person/ Virtual), or workshops (In Person/ Virtual) are the property of Broadway2LA Acting Studio, LLC. This material can be used by the studio for promotional purposes, advertisements, and sent to local industry professionals to scout talent.

Promotional and advertisements include flyers, logos, website, letterhead, promo videos, social media, commercials etc. While, local talent agencies include Heyman, PCG, Helen Wells, and CAM talent agency and the casting directors include Candy Bennett and Karmen Dann.

EMERGENCY/ MEDICAL RELEASE:

Each parent gives permission for emergency medical care of his or her child. Any concerns need to be made in writing and turned into the instructor prior to the first day of class/ camp/ workshop.

REFUND POLICY:

If students participate in two or more classes, refunds are not given out. Also, payments posted within 90 business days will not be refunded if the student does or does not attend classes. All sales are final and refunds are at the discretion of Broadway2LA Acting Studio.

Pandemic Policy:

If in person classes are cancelled due to the pandemic (COVID-19), all students will be switched to the virtual class format in their respected class. However, students will also have the option of changing their enrollment fee to a class credit for the 2021 calendar year.

SNOW POLICY:

We will cancel classes if there is a “Level II” emergency or higher. If there is rain, sleet, snow, and ice, but it is not a “Level II” emergency we will be having class. If we cancel class, you will be emailed early in the morning on the day of your class about the cancellation.

There are no refunds or make up classes for cancelled classes, including “snow days” or other weather related issues. When we return to class, our instructors will make every attempt to teach the lesson that was missed in the following sessions.

Talent Agency/ Casting Director Showcase Cancellation Policy:

If the “Talent Agency/ Casting Director Showcase” is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, the videos will be sent out to talent agents and casting directors for their review and to cast new talent.

Summer Acting Camp Policies:

Campers will be dismissed from “Broadway2LA Acting Studio Summer Acting Camps if any of the following policies are broken:

#1 Safety: All campers must be safe in and out of the theater which include not running up and down the stairs of the theater, sliding up and down the banister, or doing any other activity that my put him or herself in danger or their classmates.

#2 Check In/ Check Out: All campers must check in and check out with a Broadway2LA staff member. If a camper leaves the camp without permission from the instructor, this is grounds for termination from the camp.

#3- Respect Instructors: All campers must listen to and follow the teachers instructions during camp. Campers that refuse to follow instruction, are disrespectful, or don’t want to participate may be asked to leave the camp.

If campers are asked to leave the camp, refunds will not be given due to the rules be broken during the acting camp.
