    Experience what it is like to act in Hollywood & on Broadway!

    During this week-long acting camp at the Abbey Theater, campers (ages 8–12) will rehearse and perform a Broadway play, a commercial, and a film scene for the Broadway2LA Summer Camp Showcase. After the show, they’ll walk the B2LA Red Carpet and take photos with family, friends, and a visiting industry professional.

    Weekly Schedule

    • Mon: Broadway Day – play rehearsal

    • Tue: LA Day – film scripts & commercials

    • Wed: Broadway Day- play rehearsal

    • Thu: LA Day – film scripts & commercials

    • Fri: Showcase performance (play, commercial & film scene)

    Broadway2LA Acting Studio proudly offers an 8-week on-camera acting class for kids, designed to introduce young performers to the exciting world of film and television acting.

    In this fun and supportive environment, students will:

    • Learn on-camera acting skills including confidence-building, cold reading, and scene work tailored for TV and film.
    • Film a 2–3 minute scene in front of a green screen with professional lighting, sound, and a full camera crew at our Dublin studio.
    • Students will enjoy a limousine ride to the Abbey Theater, where they’ll watch their film scenes debut on the big screen. After the screening, they’ll walk the B2LA red carpet and celebrate their performance at the Broadway2LA Talent Agent & Casting Director Showcase.

    Broadway2LA Acting Studio Showcase Lineup Includes:

    All students will premiere a 2–3-minute film scene at the showcase, and the industry guest list includes:

    *At the showcase, industry professionals—talent agents, casting directors, and producers—can attend in person or watch videos online to discover new talent.

    Broadway2LA Acting Studio is offering an 8-week “Kid’s Fall Film Acting Class (Advanced)” course designed for students ready to dive deeper into the craft of acting — with a focus on scene analysis, character development, and the process of creating compelling roles for both stage and screen.

    Our kid actors will work with professional scripts, receive individual coaching, and gain on-camera experience throughout the course.

    The experience culminates in a red-carpet premiere event at the Abbey Theater in Dublin, Ohio, where students will enjoy a limousine ride to the theatre and showcase their TV scenes on the big screen.  After the screening, they’ll walk the B2LA red carpet and celebrate their performance at the Broadway2LA Talent Agent & Casting Director Showcase.
