Description

Broadway2LA Acting Studio is offering an 8-week acting class for our adult students with a focus on film and TV acting.  Students will experience being on a “Live” film set by filming their scenes (2-3 minutes in length) on a “Green Screen” at our Dublin location.  Finally, our actors will premiere their film scenes up on the “Big Screen” at the Abbey Theater in the “Broadway2LA Talent Agent & Casting Director Showcase.”

“Broadway2LA Talent Agent/ Casting Director Showcase” Lineup*:

*At the showcase, talent agents and/or casting directors could attend in person or watch the videos online to scout talent.

Class Schedule:

Weeks 1-6- Students will work on cold reading and auditioning skills for film and TV scripts.
Weeks 7- Students will film their scenes in front of a “Green Screen” with professional lighting, sound equipment, and a camera crew.
Week 8- Students will take a limousine ride to the Abbey Theater, see their film up on the big screen and walk out to the B2LA red carpet for pictures at the “Broadway2LA Talent Agent & Casting Director Showcase.”

Class Dates: Saturdays, January 11, 18 & 25, February 1, 8, 15, 22 and March 8*

*March 8, 2025, is the “Broadway2LA Talent Agent/ Casting Director Showcase” at the Abbey Theater. Showcase goes from 8:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
